Young kids are so fun to watch when at play. I love how their creativity really shines through when they’re using their imaginations. And it really doesn’t take a lot to get their brain juices flowing either during solo play or when playing with friends.
I love the holidays, especially Christmas because although it can get pretty stressful during the rush of shopping, decorating, getting everything ‘just so’, and everything else that’s involved, there’s just something about it that gives me a peaceful feeling.
Ah, family pets. They’re part of the American dream, right? Getting a pet can be both good and bad when you have young children. Sure, it teaches them responsibility in that they can learn to care for their pets, not to mention the bond they build with them, but I know from experience, my kids are always excited about the idea of getting one BUT when it comes to cleaning up our furbabies’ ‘messes’, well, they turn and run the other way. So, the responsibility falls on my hubby and I.
Kids are like sponges and absorb so much when they’re young. It’s always fun watching them role play, acting out what they’ve seen in the home such as cooking. When I was a little girl I always loved the faux food toys and dishes. I loved pretending that I was my Mom and was cooking up meals for the family.
