Friendship bracelets have been around a really long time. But the act of making them was always quite awkward.
Taping the ends of the threads to a table was NOT a very easy way considering if you pulled too tight, the tape gave way and you were rescuing your threads from the floor — time after time, after time. Ugh!
If you didn’t have the patience, you didn’t have a friendship bracelet to give. Not so cool when your friends are trading them here and there.
Well, times change and so has the way in which tweens are designing their braided bracelets thanks to Crorey Creations, Inc. They came up with the perfect solution, for all kids who are enjoying this trend, when they creatively designed the My Friendship Bracelet Maker.
The My Friendship Bracelet Maker comes as a complete set. You get the threading board, organizer, and 14 different thread colors to make a variety of bracelets.
There’s an attached butterfly clip that holds one end of your threads which is SO much nicer than tape. It works great at stabilizing the ends so you can complete a braided bracelet in no time. And the butterfly clip is adjustable, for optimal string length. It helps a lot as your bracelet gets longer. No more pinning them to your clothes so you can lean back and work further away!
Having the inside storage organizer makes traveling really nice because you have all of your supplies in one convenient kit. It keeps all of your threads separated per color and if you don’t complete a bracelet in any given time, you can just store it in the organizer for later.
There’s also a larger compartment in the organizer that will accommodate a small pair of scissors. These of course are necessary for cutting the thread when you’re finished braiding.
HOW DOES IT MEASURE UP?
The My Friendship Bracelet Maker measures 13.9″ x 3″ x 7.8″ and weighs 1.5 pounds. It fits easily into a backpack or book bag!
Instructions that accompany the bracelet maker are simple to follow, even for beginners. And offers step-by-step instructions on how to form a “number 4 knot” — otherwise known as the forward knot.
Different patterns you can make!
The one in the middle kind of looks like a face, don’t you think?
If you want to make additional patterns, check out the My Friendship Bracelet Maker knot-tying lessons shown on the Workshop page. It includes “getting started” videos which are definitely a must-see. These are sure to make your first friendship bracelet a successful one!
NOT JUST FOR GIRLS!
If you have a boy that loves making a statement with braided bracelets, check out the My Friendship Bracelet Maker Clipboard. It includes 10 different color precut threads. And the turquoise and green colored board, as well as the yellow peace sign clip is perfect for boys and girls.

Here’s a really simple and fun craft that kids can do while awaiting their Thanksgiving feast. The materials are really inexpensive and if you have pine trees in your yard, you’ve got some free materials on hand already. Send the little ones out to gather a few pine cones and watch as they transform them into these adorable little turkey’s.
Crafts have always been like a staple in our home. I enjoyed them when I was in school and my kids enjoy them just as much now. It gives them a chance to be creative without feeling like they’re being challenged or that they have to strive to be perfect. They’re free to use their imagination and they have a lot of fun with it.
What is it about swinging, swaying or rocking that gives you a sense of peace? New babies love to be rocked. I think it gives them a sense of security and reminds them of being in the womb. I’m no baby but I still love to swing and if I were small enough or could find a rocking horse big enough, I would still use one. They’re so much fun! Now you probably think I’m weird, right? hahaa
