This next set of gift ideas are extremely unique & fun!

I wouldn’t consider myself a hard-to-buy for kind of girl but I DO love unique things and sometimes those can be hard to find.

Well not when you’re shopping UnCommonGoods.com! This site is chock full of fun, funky, unique gifts and can certainly help you find some of the most quirky gifts for that difficult gift recipient.

UnCommon Goods offers a fairly extensive selection of creatively designed handmade items from artists and designers located all over the world. And a portion of each sale is donated to the non-profit organization of your choice; American Forests, AmeriCares, City Harvest, or RAINN. I love businesses who give back to the community!

I received a few of those crafty items to share with all of you — 2 Buddah Bowls in Aubergine and a Cuisipro Peanut Butter & Jelly Spreader.

WHAT’S A BUDDAH BOWL?

This nifty bowl is designed to fit naturally inside of the palm of your hand and it definitely does. It’s shaped just right to cradle your hand — either hand — so no matter if you’re a “leftie” or a “rightie”, it doesn’t matter because this bowl was made for you!

You slip your thumb through the thumb hole and place your fingers just below the bowl and you’re ready to eat. These bowls feel like they were created just for me, and they give me the ability to keep a better grip on my bowl. I LOVE them!

I’ve used them for cereal, and ice cream and next will try them with my morning coffee and maybe even soup. Another idea is hot cocoa topped with lots of mini marshmallows. hehee!

My only regret with these is not getting more. Honestly, now I want to buy some of the other colors. I love the aubergine — it’s a really pretty burgundy color and I think it would look great in my kitchen with the ‘olive’ and ‘butter’ buddha bowls as well.

The Buddha Bowls are handmade in the USA and Canada and are made of ceramic materials. They’re microwave and dishwasher safe although I plan to hand wash them and won’t be putting them in our microwave. I don’t want to risk damaging my new favorite bowls.

HOW DO THEY MEASURE UP?

The Buddha Bowls measure 3.25″ H x 6.25″ D and hold 18 ounces.

These awesome bowls are available in 7 beautiful colors; Olive, Black Bean, Tofu, Aubergine, Pacific, Butter and Shitake.

Retail Price: $19.00 each

CUISIPRO ~

The Peanut Butter & Jelly Spreader is one item that will get a lot of use here in my home. It’s perfect for use when making peanut butter & jelly sandwiches as well as toast with butter and jelly or jam or whatever spreads you use.

The concept of this unique item is to prevent cross spreading two different condiments. My hubby has always disliked finding crumbs in the butter and my pet peeve has always been finding jelly in the peanut butter or peanut butter in the jam. Ok, the crumbs bother me too. hehee! I’m picky about my food and I’m sure I’m not alone here.

WHAT’S IT MADE OF?

This all-in-one plastic handled tool has two oval color-coded silicone-covered ends that resemble narrow spatulas. They make scooping and spreading super easy!

It can also be used with cream cheese, mayonnaise, and mustard or really anything spreadable. And it works great! I love that I’m not mixing ingredients in the jars. That’s what mixing bowls are for, right? hehee!

HOW DOES IT MEASURE UP?

The Cuisipro Peanut Butter & Jelly Spreader measures 11.5″ L x 1.125″ W.

Retail Price: $9.00
