This is one of our all-time favorite meat recipes. For me it’s quick and simple to prepare and is great when paired with herb roasted red potatoes.


If you’re looking for a tasty meat entree for a special dinner such as Valentine’s Day, look no further than this Herb Roasted Pork Tenderloin.  It has an awesome flavor and cuts easily with a fork.

When we have leftovers I like to pop it in my Crock-Pot and make pulled pork BBQ for sandwiches. So, you get two meals in one. Enjoy!

  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp Marjoram dried
  • 2 tsp Thyme dried
  • 2 tsp Sage rubbed
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2.5 - 3 lb Pork Tenderloin boneless
  1. Combine all ingredients except the tenderloin in a small bowl.
  2. Remove fat strip from pork tenderloin. Poke holes in tenderloin with fork or small knife and place in resealable bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour marinade over pork and seal container. Chill for 2.5 hours or overnight.
  4. Once pork has had time to marinate, remove from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature. Doing so allows the meat to cook evenly all the way through.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove from marinade and place tenderloin on roasting pan (on rack). Pour 1 cup of water in bottom.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of pork registers 160 degrees F. Remove from oven and allow to rest 5-10 minutes.
  7. Slice pork tenderloin into desired pieces and serve.

    It really is Jenn. I prefer to marinate mine overnight to give the tenderloin time to absorb the ingredients. It has tons of flavor!

    Oh, that looks so juicy! Sometimes I shy away from pork because it can dry out so easily. I guess marinating it overnight seals in the good juiciness. I want to try this!!!!

    We don’t eat pork very often. When we do it must be tenderloin and it must be marinated. Your recipe is close to ours. It sounds good.

    Sounds like another delicious recipe. I don’t have too many meat recipes. I did learn something new though. I never thought to let the product come to room temperature before cooking it so that it cooks evenly. Great tip!
