SOUND + SLEEP Adaptive Sound Therapy Machine {review} + Giveaway

A good nights sleep is hard to get in my home. See our home backs up to a very busy road and there’s always traffic no matter what time of day it is.

We also live near the railroad tracks (within 2 minutes) and it seems the trains know when we’ve hit the sheets because they drive through our town, blowing their whistles pretty frequently without let up. It’s quite loud even at the distance between our house and the tracks.

Also, just last winter we gained some new neighbors right next door and with them came two dogs. Those dogs are let out to run at all hours of the day and night and one in particular (a beagle) chooses to bark and bray nonstop while he’s out there and it’s not at all possible to sleep.

Those same neighbors like to stay up until 5 am. on the weekends too. Oh, and hang outdoors while screaming and yelling — sometimes arguing. Yippee!

Did I mention my hubby snores? UGH.

Well, enough is enough! I’ve had enough sleepless nights and I’m fed up with the annoying noises. I want my sleep back pronto!!!

The little ‘richness‘ button determines how many sounds are added to augment the base SoundStory — a library of dozens of enhancing sounds. I am truly loving this amazing little machine! The sounds are SO realistic and SO soothing. I also appreciate that it comes with a built-in timer that offers 4 different settings (30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes & 120 minutes). So I don’t have to remember to turn it off myself. Now that would be ok if it didn’t make me fall asleep. hahaa!
