Bella’s Blog Bash: Bialetti Aeternum Cookware Set {review} + Giveaway ($80 value)

As you all know, I love to cook. It’s just one of those things that gives me a chance to be creative, to get my mind off of other things and for me, it’s like giving a ‘gift’ every time I serve a meal.

Bella’s Blog Bash: Enjou Chocolat Champagne Bottle {review} + Giveaway

Mmm, chocolate! Just the thought of it makes me melt. How can one piece of something edible taste like heaven? Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, semi-sweet, white chocolate. It’s solid, it’s hollow, it’s melted, it’s shaped — it really doesn’t matter what it looks like because it still tastes so darned good.

Bea’s Gift Baskets ~ Spooktacular Sweets Halloween Gift Box {review} + Giveaway ($50 value)

When you think about Halloween, what is the first thing that comes to mind? For me, it’s candy. Lots and lots of candy treats. That’s what ultimately makes the holiday exciting for kids, isn’t? It gives them the opportunity to go out and get a whole bag full that can last for up to a month or more and their parents are ok with it.

I have one wild child.  There is no sugar coating it.  She is just plain strong willed, no matter how much we discipline her.  So, for that reason, home and child safety has played a huge role in our lives ever since she has been able to get around on her own.

Bella’s Blog Bash: Zhu Zhu Pets & Playsets {review} + Giveaway

Ah, family pets. They’re part of the American dream, right? Getting a pet can be both good and bad when you have young children. Sure, it teaches them responsibility in that they can learn to care for their pets, not to mention the bond they build with them, but I know from experience, my kids are always excited about the idea of getting one BUT when it comes to cleaning up our furbabies’ ‘messes’, well, they turn and run the other way. So, the responsibility falls on my hubby and I.

For many, many years our Trick-or-Treat night dinner has consisted of a bowl of chili and grilled cheese sandwiches. I, like my Mom, have made the same dishes for the holiday every year. She makes Potato Soup and Bologna sandwiches and I make a big Dutch oven full of Chili. There’s never any question as to ‘what’s for dinner?” because everyone already knows.
