I’ve always enjoyed movies with animals, especially those that talk, and especially those with cats and dogs. They’re just extremely funny with all of their antics and human-like qualities.
Of course as everyone knows, there’s always been a battle of which is better — cats OR dogs. I love ‘em both but if I had to choose, I’d go with cats. To me, they’re just easier to care for and very lovable. Or at least mine are. hehee. They actually remind me of me. Why? Because we’re both independent, like luxurious things, like to be spoiled, we act girly but stand up to the best of ‘em, and we only want attention or affection when WE are in the mood. Otherwise, don’t bother us! hahaa
Our household is made up of 2 cats and 1 dog and for the most part, they all get along. Psst… the cats rule. Just don’t tell the dog. hahaa
Now I know you all have seen advertisements regarding the upcoming release of the movie Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. Well, to help you prepare for the new movie, Warner Brothers has released on Blu-ray DVD, the original movie — Cats & Dogs: Things Are Gonna Get Hairy. Most, if not all of you have probably seen it by now so how about adding a Blu-ray version to your family video collection?
Here’s a quick synopsis of the movie just in case you forgot:
They’re cunning. They’re stealthy. They’re waging a top-secret, ultra-high-tech struggle for global domination right under our noses. They’re…Cats & Dogs! Witness this epic “tail” of what happens when an eccentric professor (Jeff Goldblum) makes a discovery that could tip the age-old balance of pet power. Now an inexperienced young beagle pup (voiced by Tobey Maguire) will undertake the ultimate mission impawsible: saving humankind from total catastrophe! Voices of Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Jon Lovitz, Charlton Heston and Sean Hayes are also featured.

Ah, now you probably remember — it uncovers the truth about the high-tech, secret war being waged in neighborhoods everywhere that humans aren’t even aware of: an eternal struggle between the two great armies of Cats and Dogs. The story follows the Cats’ plan to destroy a new vaccine developed by a human (Jeff Goldblum) that, if developed, would destroy all human allergies to Dogs, and the Dogs’ efforts to stop the Cats from executing their plan. I love how the cats put their heads and paws together to try to win the war. Clever kitties! hehee. Poor Mr. Tinkles though winds up getting more than he bargained for in the end. hahaa! Just as fun as I remembered.
Released on Blu-ray DVD July 20th. Now in stores!
