Have a blue collar worker on your holiday shopping list? Yes? Then listen up because after this next set of gift ideas, your working man is going to be a sharp dressed man— yet safe, and comfortable while working in rough and tough terrain.
I was recently introduced to Steam Horse Dry Goods Co., a business who combines vintage American-made workwear with performance fabrics to make them more modern— so the blue collar worker can bend and stretch easier, not to mention look better, yet still get the durable, lasting, clothing he needs for that grueling manual labor.
This tradesmen clothing line was designed for even the toughest of jobs, all right here in the United States! Steam Horse strives to use only the best materials that will hold up on the job and keep fellow Americans employed.
If your guy is looking for simple styles with a modern edge, Steam Horse has what he needs. Just recently my hubby was sent the Railroad Gauge Gusset Work Jacket (with free carpenters pencil), and the Railroad Gauge Gusset Work Pants, and have to say both items are extremely durable.
These attractive, sturdy work clothes are made of water repellant Cannonball Duck Canvas which allows for maximum breathability.
The Gusset Work Jacket includes triple stitched seams to give your guy extra strength when he’s stretching. The jacket also includes a few convenient pockets including two on the chest, two on the hips, a large pocket inside and even a sleeve pocket for storing a utility pen or pencil.
Antique brass buttons and snaps accentuate the attractive chestnut brown canvas fabric and speaking of snaps, the two chest pockets snap to help keep your mans valuables like a cellphone safely nestled inside.
The Gusset Work Pants include rubber gripper tape inside the waistline to help keep shirts tucked inside as you bend and there are reinforced double deep pockets on the hips to help keep a wallet and other valuables contained. Your guy will love the reinforced hems at the ankles. They help reduce frayed edges— making these pants ideal for daily, extensive use.
Additionally, the work pants are accentuated by antique brass buttons and a zipper— making the work jacket and the pants a perfect pair!
And finally, hubby also received a Boilermaker Beanie Hat in Black which is perfect for our current chilly season. The Boilermaker is made of 100% polyester fleece with a double layered brim for extra warmth to keep those ears toasty in the frosty air.
I don’t know, I do have to admit, I’m pretty smitten by my guy when he’s all decked out in work attire. Va-va-va-voom! hehee.
Take a peek at their “Look Book” to see these durable work clothes in action!
You can purchase the Railroad Gusset Work Jacket ($84.99) — Railroad Gusset Work Pants ($64.99)— and Boilermaker Beanie Hat ($14.99) directly at www.shopsteamhorse.com.
Steam Horse All-American Workwear would make the perfect gift for blue collar working men and women doing work in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical and other manual labor.
