Kleenex-hand-towels~ Thank you to Kleenex for providing samples in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are strictly my own! ~

If you’ve followed my antic-filled posts for a while now you should already know how much of a germaphobe I am.

Not only do I shutter at the thought of germs being on my hands and around my home, but I’m quite the crazy woman when it comes to my food (and it’s contents).

See, while I’m cooking I have to stop and wash my hands several times because I don’t want to cross contaminate the food. I guess you could say I’m always looking out for my family’s health. Sure, that’s a good thing but once my hands are dripping with water I can’t and won’t don’t dry off with a towel — I typically used paper towels.

Why? Because not only are kitchen and bath towels laden with germs (from frequent use), they are also covered in fuzz and possibly hair. Can you say “ICK!”? I have to gag at the thought of finding that in my food as I’m sitting at the dinner table. Yes, I have OCD and I’m not afraid to say it. hahaa!

Thanks to Kleenex® I no longer have to waste my hard earned money on rolls and rolls of thin, easily torn paper towels and I don’t have to resort to the fuzzy, germy towels in the bathroom. Woohoo!

Just recently I was sent a few boxes of the new Kleenex Hand Towels and I have to say that I am hooked. To be honest, I’m now their #1 fan. I LOVE these towels!!!

Because I’m notorious about cleaning my hands you will now find boxes of Kleenex hand towels in every bathroom of my home, along with the kitchen.

What makes Kleenex hand towels better than paper towels (in comparison) is that they’re much thicker, stronger and a whole lot softer. Plus, they come in decorative dispenser boxes that look prettier on your counter (or towel bar). Oh yeah, you don’t have to waste water, electric or detergent washing them either!

My hands are happier now that they’re completely germ-free and I’m happier knowing I’m not contaminating my family’s meals. hehee!

DID YOU KNOW?

In the U.S. alone, people dry their hands on cloth bathroom towels approximately 200 billion times per year?

That’s a lot of hand washing. Single-use bathroom towels help reduce the spread of germs as compared to re-usable towels, providing consumers with a product that gives them a hygienic solution. With summer entertaining season right around the corner, it’s important to prepare your bathrooms for guests. Rather than having guests use the same hand towel to dry their hands, Kleenex Hand Towels offers a cleaner way to dry hands.

To help consumers learn more about these single-use towels, and to help reduce the spread of germs Kleenex placed a hand washing station right in the middle of busy Central Park in New York City with, you guessed it, Kleenex Hand Towels!

As busy as that park is, it sure was a great location.

Let’s see what happened…

That towel looked pretty gross, right? So, which would YOU choose? You know I’M going with the new Kleenex Hand Towels. I’m not even going to try remembering the last time a cloth bath towel or hand towel was washed before using it. And you shouldn’t have to.

Kleenex hand towels are easy to dispense, cottony soft and convenient to use. Plus, they’re made with ink-free, dye-free and frangrance-free Dry-Touch fibers for super absorbency.  Why would you choose anything else?

So, I’m cooking some food while I read this post, and I too have been bustling around washing my hands constantly anytime I handle food, so I feel you on this, LOL! I could use these!!

  • Kisa says:

I love the cute holiday boxes! I’ve considered getting these for the bathrooms so the kids will dry their hands more often. We pretty much just end up washing our towels EVERY day because I can’t stand the idea of them being all filthy and germy.

  • Karen says:

great review, I love some of the new designs

  • No way! I love this idea – I am going to have to look for this at the store next time we’re shopping!

  • Char W says:

Hmmm, I’m not sure what to think. I like that the Kleenex Hand Towels are softer than regular paper towels. I like the idea of no germs… but, I see a lot of waste with the single use hand towels. Then again, to change a cloth hand towel every time, for every person adds up to extra laundry, which uses water, soap, electricity… It would be awesome to have a biodegradable hand towel to get the best of both worlds.

  • Betty says:

love these hand towels – they came is so handy during summer birthday parties with heavy use of the bathrooms.

  • Lynn Wittner says:

These are awesome! We carry them in all of our vehicles and I always have them handy for when the grandkids come over.

  • lisa says:

I’m always washing my hands. Especially after I go shopping. I’m so glad that the grocery store put out hand wipes.

  • Janet W. says:

I had no idea they made hand towels! I love that they are thicker than your average paper towel. I’d like to give them a try!

  • Robin Wilson says:

I am torn on this one. We have been trying hard to cut down on the number of paper towels and napkins that we have been using. It is so easy just to grab one for every little thing and it seems like such a waste. Yet washing cloth towels uses more water, etc. etc. I think I would def like them for social gatherings or when someone is sick in the house though.

  • lisa says:

This is a great product. I love to carry a sandwich bag with some wet wipes in my handbag when I’m out.

  • rebeccabasset says:

  • JR Frugalmom says:

What great holiday themed designs. I should get some of these for the stroller, as we are always on the go.

  • Rebecca Parsons says:

I have these, I stocked up on them last winter and still have 2 boxes left. They are great and will be dragging them out again soon.

  • MaryAnn says:

I love this idea. I never have a towel around when my kid’s make messes and I need to wipe it up quickly or to dry their hands.

  • Chenell says:

I love the towel bar packaging! That is too neat.

  • julie says:

I have been meaning to try these

  • Brandy Davis says:

I didn’t know they had these. Will def. be checking them out next shopping trip.

  • Aretta H. says:

I have seen these in stores but not yet tried them. The colder months will definitely require a better way of cleaning our hands here.

  • Brigitte Hoch says:

These are a great idea. We don’t keep our paper towels in a holder, so when we grab a paper towel we are touching the inner tube each time.

  • Desiree H says:

Awesome. Thanks for the coupon. Makes them very affordable! Thanks for the review!

  • Shannon Gould says:

What a great idea. I am excited to try them with flu season approaching!
