When you catch a whiff of different scents do they bring on special memories about any particular seasons, holidays or memorable moments in life?
For me, when I smell cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread or vanilla I get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside— as they tantalize my senses just like baked goods at Christmas time.
Crisp linen or powdery scents remind me of when my kids were babies. You know, that just bathed baby smell? hehee!
That’s the great thing about candles, there’s just SO many scents to choose from that can do wonders for your mood as they bring on different memories or moments in time. I tend to place a variety of scents throughout my home, depending on the season.
I especially LOVE tropical scents because they make me think of the beach and sipping on fruity concoctions while I bask in the sun. Mmmm…
