Mega Bloks Barbie Build ‘N Style with MommieParties

It seems like every little girls fantasy is to be as beautiful, rich and overall well rounded as the infamous Barbie. Doesn’t it?

And why not, Barbie has traveled near and far. She has an extensive wardrobe, lots of fancy cars, houses, pets— you name it, she’s had it. Sounds like a life fit for a princess, right? Of course it does and that’s why it shouldn’t come as a surprise when I tell you the makers of Mega Bloks® went and created a world of build ‘n style playsets— Barbie-style. Oh, and it’s in pink. Would it be any other color? No way!

From fashion boutiques, and pet shops to a luxurious mansion, these interchangeable playsets are sure to spark your little girls interest. They’ll have hours of fun setting up each set, giving them their own personal touches here and there, and living the Barbie dream life!

Thanks to our friends at MommieParties, we had the honor of bringing Barbie (and a few of our little friends) into our home for a Mega® Bloks Barbie® Build ‘N Style party recently. My niece Brenna invited some of her classmates to join us as we literally engaged in hours of fun, entertainment and imaginative play. These girls had a blast!

This is just a small bit of what we received!

As part of our ‘mega’ party, Mega Bloks sent along an awesome Luxury Mansion, as well as a Pool Party set and some Fashion Boutique and Ice Cream Stand playsets.

To make the party extra special each girl got the opportunity to take home a fashion boutique and ice cream stand playset of their own. Once they learned that they all let out high pitched squeals. hehee!

We also supplied each little diva with a few fashion accessories like those pink fluffy boas. You have to act the part, right?

Assembling the luxury mansion takes a bit of time since there are SO many small pieces but once it’s finished the true fun begins. I really appreciated the step-by-step instruction manuals that came with each playset, especially the mansion. It makes putting these babies together a whole lot easier. The colorful image diagrams tell you exactly which pieces you will need, and how many for each step, even the stickers.

Young girls may need a bit of help because some steps can be a bit confusing and some parts are a little tougher putting together. But that just helps build the excitement as each playset comes together.

In the middle of building the luxury mansion we stopped for a break to dine on a few snacks including fresh fruits with a sweet and creamy pink fruit dip, fresh bite-sized veggies, cheeses, crackers and mini BBQ sausages. Oh, and some pink punch. A girl has to keep up her strength ya know. hehee!

Once the girls got the hang of matching the pieces with the image diagrams they did quite well in finishing their playsets and finalizing them with their colorful stickers. Then after a little more playtime it was time to call it a day. Boo! No, really the girls were keyed up and ready to go home and continue acting out a fantasy life with Barbie.

These sets really ARE fun! They’re a cheery, bright girly-girl pink and include everything you need to create the perfect Barbie world— all the way to the very last little detail. For Barbie, you can’t expect anything less.
