Chicken Butt!!!

hahaa! I’m kidding of course but if you’ve been reading my posts here closely I made a little announcement (earlier in the week). It was actually hidden within one of my reviews. Did you catch it?

If not, shame on you. You need to pay more attention! Kidding again, you know I can be a goofball. No, in the last few weeks I’ve been holding in a little secret. Ok, a major secret and I’m thrilled to finally get the chance to tell all of you. My daughter Gina is pregnant!!! She is 14 weeks preggers and due on August 23rd.

Being that this is officially my first grand child, I am ecstatic. The reason I say “officially” is because last year my oldest daughter Dani was pregnant but miscarried in March. So, since this pregnancy is as far along as it is, I’m assuming that it classifies me as being a first-time nonna (grandma).

We don’t know just yet what the gender is but will hopefully find out in 2 months (once Gina turns 5 months pregnant). Well, that and if the baby cooperates. You know how that is. hehee!

Anyway, I thought this announcement was a great way to end the hectic week. I’ll continue to give you updates on Gina’s progress weekly so you can follow along. If she is willing, I’ll share belly pics too. hehee!
