Can you believe we’re already a couple weeks into 2013? Even though it seems like we were just celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, another major holiday is only a few weeks away: Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays that can be built up to no end and there always seems to be lots of pressure to make Valentine’s Day activities overly extravagant, fancy and expensive.
But Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be about how pricey your plans are; it should be about the people you love spending time with and even more importantly, sweet desserts! And if you start planning now, you won’t have to stress about it in the week or two beforehand when everyone else is going crazy.
Here are some ideas for sweet Valentine’s Day desserts that won’t break the bank and that are perfect for whatever kind of plans you may have:
Spending Valentine’s Day with your family? Whip up a plate of these bite-sized goodies that kids and parents will both love. They couldn’t be easier to make (they only take 10 minutes) and are perfect if you’re a fan of low-calorie dessert recipes.

The raspberries with chocolate pudding sounds best to me.The pie is a close second.
Strawberries on a Cloud looks and sounds SO good!
Strawberries on a cloud…yummmmm
The Raspberry and Chocolate Pudding Dessert Martini looks like a perfect finish for a romantic Valoentine’s Day dinner! So easy and I bet it’s delicious!
Since raspberries are my husband’s favorite, I’d be making the Dessert Martini for us, but the kids and lil’ sweetheart we have in da’ house now, I’d be putting together those cute and simple ‘nilla wafer treats. We do try to do something fun for the kids, even though they are teens now. But having lil ones in the house is even more fun to start a traditional fun night for meal, treats, and a few little trinkets.
YUM! They look really easy to make too! Thanks!
