With Christmas coming in a hurry I’m spending any little free moment I get (which isn’t often) trying to get through my holiday shopping list.
And after working, running my blog, rebuilding parts of our home, shopping like a mad woman and everything else going on, it doesn’t leave me a lot of time to even think about what we’ll have for dinner (let alone put together a matching outfit half the time).
So, at or near dinner time I’m standing in my kitchen looking dumb founded. Ok, what’s quick and easy yet something everyone will eat? Hmm… I’m sure I’m not alone here. Many of you probably find yourself doing the same thing and if you’re like me, you probably wind up fixing the same thing repetitiously when your time is limited. How boring!
Well, thanks to Progresso, tasty, homemade meals can be made in a matter of minutes with their new Recipe Starters cooking sauces.
How about Crispy Garlic-Parmesan Chicken with a side of Fettuccine Alfredo?
This tasty dish is made using Progresso Recipe Starters creamy parmesan basil cooking sauce, along with some boneless, skinless chicken breasts, melted butter, garlic powder, bread crumbs, and parmesan or asiago cheese, along with cooked pasta or mashed potatoes. Yummy!
Progresso Recipe Starters can transform your leftovers into some truly delicious new meals. Obviously your Thanksgiving turkey is long gone but just think, Christmas will come and go and there sitting in your refrigerator will more than likely be some leftover ham, turkey or other meats. Don’t just toss ‘em, bring them back to life in a wholesome meal your family will love.
Recipe Starters cooking sauces are available in five flavorful varieties:
Looking for a simple yet delicious weekend meal your family can dine on in a hurry? Try the Chicken Tortilla Soup. This hearty dinner combines Progresso Recipe Starters fire roasted tomato cooking sauce, crispy flour tortillas, cumin, shredded chicken, and black or cannellini beans. Garnish each bowl with some shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and sour cream and YUMMO!
We’ve tried both of these recipes and they were pretty amazing. I can’t wait to try the other sauces and of course, many of the other recipes offered by Progresso.
Progresso Recipe Starters cooking sauces are available at grocery retailers like Kroger, Meijer and Walmart nationwide. Prices may vary per store.

I love these utensils. They have built-in ‘feet’ that keeps the ends from touching your counter. No messes!
