The holidays are all about family, and that includes our doggies and kitties. So why not buy your beloved furry best friend a special gift to show your appreciation of them? They like gifts too!
Our pets are totally spoiled and toys are something they surely are NOT lacking in. They have a large basket full actually. Of course the toys don’t always stay in the basket because “Skye” has a habit of dragging them out and leaving them laying throughout the house.
We’ve stepped on our fair share of bouncy balls, raw hides, squeak toys, and more in the middle of the night. OUCH! I’m not sure which one feels worse but I DO know our kitties’ little stuffed mouse (with a bell on the end of its tail) hurts REALLY bad. My hubby always seems to “find” that one. hahaa!
We really need to teach these little boogers to put their toys away, huh? Yeah, I wish!
Thanks to Petmate, Christmas came early for “Skye” this year when they sent her an assortment of small dog toys. Boy was she ever excited!
This assortment consists of:
Skye and her new toys (with Mookie’s glowing eyes in the background)!
Skye absolutely loves squeaky and crinkly toys, and once I removed each toy from the box she seemed to have a hard time choosing which one she wanted first — all but one makes noise. If it moves or makes a loud noise, she’s all over it.
You should see her when I receive a box that contains packing “bubbles”. Oh it is hilarious! She goes crazy biting at them and scratching to make them pop. I need to get her on video. haha!
After spending a little time playing with each of her new toys, Skye seems to favor the cute little pink flamingo with stretchy legs. She can bite it, make it squeak and it’s legs can be pulled (in tug-of-war fashion) — one of her favorite ‘games’.
These toys didn’t seem to draw much interest from our two kitties Bella and Mookie so we’ll just have to wait and see what Santa Claws brings them. Maybe something with cat nip in it. They love those!
I really love that each Petmate toy is small enough to fit in Skye’s petite little mouth– she seems to be intimidated by the larger toys. I don’t blame her honestly. Plus, they’re all safe — no buttons, stickers or tiny pieces that can easily come off and cause a choking hazard. Each one would make a great, affordable gift to be placed under your tree or in your doggies stocking this year.
BUY IT!
