I’ve always loved decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. There’s just something about those twinkling lights, evergreens and bulbs that entrances me.
I think it’s more than just the beauty of it all though. Maybe the familiarity that takes me back to when I was a little girl and couldn’t wait for Christmas to come. I loved laying under the Christmas tree and gazing at all of the colorful, sparkling lights and ornaments. It was SO peaceful!
Every year I get excited when I’m digging out all of our ornaments for the tree and the decorations for inside and outside our home. Each little ornament symbolizes a small portion of our lives at different segments in time. With each opened box the memories just come flooding back.
And outside, hubby and I have always enjoyed putting up lights on the house and in the yard so we can gaze at them through our windows. And to complete the outside decor, a pretty wreath that’s hung from our front door to greet guests. It’s SO inviting!
You know for nearly the last two decades I’ve displayed the same wreath (an artificial one) every year — I bought all the materials and decorated it myself. I’m a crafty kind of girl and because it turned out so well, and held up so long, I continued using it. That is until last year. It had just had enough by then.
I tried sprucing it up this year but it was just time to move onto something else, something different and I found it through Lynch Creek Farm — the 26″ Burgundy Deluxe Door Wreath.
I’ve never owned a fresh wreath or Christmas tree so when I received my new Burgundy Deluxe door wreath I was quite shocked at it’s striking appearance and the smell… oh my was it intoxicating. SO fresh and oh so appealing. I was in love!
When I first opened the box (which was a bit heftier in weight than my faux wreath) the aroma from the pine wafted up toward my nose instantly. It was like bringing in one of the huge pine trees in our back yard, except it looks much more appealing. hehee!
This baby is SO full and luscious. The wreath itself is made of fresh and ever so fragrant noble fir, and salal leaves that are accented with juniper and incense cedar. For decoration, the deluxe wreath is adorned with 3 real ponderosa pine cones, clusters of red berries and a big, glittery burgundy bow. It’s gorgeous and looks amazing hanging from our new front door.
My camera didn’t capture the true beauty of this wreath. It’s more deeper green and blue in color!
Now because these wreaths are real, not fake, they do require a little bit of gentleness in handling and care. You don’t want to just toss them around because you can damage them and they won’t last long. And although the cold temperatures help in keeping them preserved, it’s a good idea to spritz the back with a bit of clean, fresh water from time to time to keep them hydrated. They love that!
Lynch Creek Farms definitely puts a lot of thought into their evergreens. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every detail to create a true, natural masterpiece that’s guaranteed to last through the holidays. Lynch Creek warrants all of their products so if you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, they will refund your money or quickly ship you a replacement.
If you’re looking for a Christmas wreath, garland, door swag or centerpiece to decorate your home this year, I highly recommend you check out Lynch Creek Farms. Their handcrafted evergreens are elegantly created with much care and will wow your guests with their striking beauty all season long!
