First came the ‘iLife‘ in the form of iTunes and the iconic iPod, iPhone, and iPad (for the gadget geeks of society). Technology just keeps getting better and better, doesn’t it? So much so that many of us can’t go a day or (for some) a minute without their cellphones and mp3 players.
And now, for the little ones in your life… iTikes by Little Tikes.
Yes, the “i” fever is hitting even youngsters nowadays. And can you blame them? Everyone loves the ease of portability that you get with an iPod, iPhone and iPad and with SO many apps available today, there’s nearly one for everything that goes on in your life.
Just think about it– how many times have you heard the question “is there an app for that?” Gee, I wonder why. Because more than likely there IS. haha!
Internet technology has came a long way since I first learned about it years ago, and now you can not only take a techy gadget with you anywhere you go but it’s being carried over into our vehicles as well. It’s extremely helpful, not to mention fun. So, why not let children get in on it too? They can learn a lot without even realizing that they’re being educated.
That’s the exciting thing about the iTikes Piano. It’s not just a toy piano, it’s a toy piano that when attached to an Apple device, becomes an amazing piano that looks like a toy.
Although an Apple product is not required, the iTikes piano (when used in conjunction with an Apple product) helps your child learn to read, and play music with interactive games. Music literally comes to life as your child is inspired with iTikes.
The iTikes Piano includes:
Use the piano with an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad!
Two ways for kids to learn music skills
Four different ways to play
The iTikes piano gives children a passion for music by combining classic play and high-tech education. As I stated, this toy can be used without an Apple device. Kids can still learn how to play songs, listen to built-in music such as “Polly Wolly Doodle”, and “She’ll be coming around the mountain”, and explore creativity through freestyle music.
Your child will have loads of fun with the stand alone keyboard. The major keys light up to assist them in learning the notes, and there’s a record and playback feature in “free play” mode so he or she can play along and listen after they’re finished with a performance. In “solo” mode the keyboard lights up, playing on it’s own so your child can learn the notes. And in “stepper” mode, the iTikes piano will wait until the notes are pressed and will continue at your child’s own speed as they learn at his or her own pace.
While using the piano with a device, you can download a FREE exclusive app which enhances the toy, taking it to a whole new level of fun. Kids can choose from 3 different levels of play — easy, medium and hard for a variety of different games and activities.
Your child can master the “Ode to Joy!”, “London Bridge”, the “itsy bitsy spider”, and a whole lot more.
The iTikes Piano can be purchased directly at www.littletikes.com. As well as at Toys R Us and other toy retailers nationwide. This product retails for $49.99 and is recommended for children ages 3 and up. Requires 3 ‘AA’ batteries (not included).
