We all know that breastfeeding provides the absolute best nutrition for babies. It’s the antibodies and other components found in breast milk that you don’t get with formula that gives it an advantage.
But for some new mothers, breastfeeding is simply not an option.
Choosing the right infant formula can naturally be overwhelming due to the amount of options that are available but it truly does not have to be. Obviously all moms want the best available but did you know that all infant formulas made in the United States must provide complete nutrition for growing babies and meet FDA requirements for safety, nutrition, and quality?
The fact is, store brand infant formulas are nutritionally equivalent to national brands such as Enfamil and Similac. BUT they cost significantly less — half the price. Store brands can actually save you $600 per year. I don’t know about you but we sure could use an extra $600 elsewhere.
So, while your babies are still drinking formula, it would be worth your while to look into manufacturers such as Perrigo Nutritionals, the maker of store brands for retailers like Parent’s Choice (Walmart), Up & Up (Target), Comforts (Kroger), and Simply Right (Sam’s Club).
Perrigo Nutritionals offers a wide variety of formulations to accommodate even the most sensitive tummies and lactose-intolerant babies — all at a better value.

One great way to save a lot of money is to line dry your clothes.
I have been coupon crazy since my son was born! He needed a hypoallergenic formula for 6 months due to a milk protein allergy and that is so expensive and you get less than other formulas but have to use more (bigger scoops) – if it wasn’t for coupons I would’ve spent much more money then we actually did!
I try to save money by using coupons as often as I can.

I use coupons and try to buy store brand products that I trust!
