It’s no secret that we love animals and share our home with 3 wonderful bundles of fur — Skye, Bella, and Mookie.

I don’t think I’ve ever went without some type of pet at any point in my life. When I was growing up my mom always had a cat, a dog or both — even a bird and fish tanks at one point. And so my love of animals grew and hasn’t ever ceased.

Cats and dogs are like therapy to me. Their love is never ending. They listen when you need a shoulder to cry on, or just need someone to be there for you. They comfort you when you’re sick (they seem to sense it), and they’re happy when you’re happy. They also seem to know when you need some cheering up because they’re always doing silly things just to make me laugh.

Skye, our 6 pound “powder puff” Pomeranian girlie typically favors my hubby out of everyone in our home but when I’m stressed, she’s there, right by my side to calm me and let me know that everything’s going to be alright.

Yes, she likes to dress up.

Our pets are family members, well, to be truthful, they’re our best friends. We can always count on them just as much as they count on us for their needs. With pets it’s a win-win situation. The only bad thing about having a pet such as a kitty or doggie is…. unfortunately they don’t live forever. Parting is extremely hard but throughout their short lives, they give us much joy and SO much love. I can’t imagine life without them!

Man’s Best Friend & SO Much More!

Many people rely on service dogs to help them with their daily lives. People with disabilities such as the visually impaired can get to their destinations more easily and safely thanks to a ‘working dog’ and others with physical ailments have more fulfilling lives thanks to therapy dogs. It’s amazing how intelligent, eager to please and loyal dogs are.

Cesar believes that a relationship with a dog can truly improve and enrich every life, including people in need. Dogs are capable of lowering stress, anxiety, and even blood pressure. And that’s why they created the Share a Story, Share the Love social media campaign — to encourage dog lovers to share their heartwarming stories of therapy dogs through their social media pages on Facebook and Twitter.

In return, Cesar is sharing the love with three therapy dog organizations through donations that help continue the services they provide to people in need.

  • Skye is beautiful! I have a black lab/ rott mix and he really is therapeutic! I’ve dealt with high blood pressure and anxiety in the past, and snuggling and petting him always makes me feel calm. Until he knocks over the garbage can! Haha! =)

She is a cutie! We have four small dogs. My oldest Roxi is 13 in December. She’s a 6lb yorkie and my shadow, it makes me cry to even think about her not being there

Your dog is really pretty. We have a 2 year old min-pin mix and while he is not a service dog in any sense of the word, he is my huband’s best friend as they keep each other company all day and all night. I think it is great that Cesar is supporting therapy dog organizations. I love to support these types of companies who give back to the animal communities.
