Thanks to Betty Crocker, you can now enjoy your favorite breakfast cereals but in a whole new way… in the form of streusel-topped muffins.

Betty Crocker Cereal Muffin mixes were inspired by Big G cereals such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs and Cocoa Puffs.

Break the ho-hum routine of eating cold cereal every morning!

If you love to cook and bake but don’t always have the time, these muffin mixes are a quick and convenient way to get moist snacks to your table in no time. Not to mention getting your children to eat breakfast — in a whole new way.

We were lucky enough to receive each of Betty Crocker’s new muffin flavors via MyBlogSpark to try. And boy was I anxious to get in the kitchen and whip them up!

Each kit contains a dry mix and streusel topping for sprinkling atop your batter.

To make your muffins, combine 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup vegetable oil and 2 whole eggs with your dry muffin mix. Line a 12-count muffin tin with liners and fill each 2/3 full with batter. Sprinkle each with the streusel topping, lightly pressing down on each to ensure the topping won’t fall off during baking, and bake for 13 – 18 minutes. Remove the muffins from your oven and allow them to cool on a wire rack.

Each muffin mix uses the same ingredients and bake time so you can prepare more than one box mix at a time, if you’d like.

So, which did we prefer? It was unanimous… we all liked the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor best. Although we enjoy chocolate, the cinnamon flavor had a better overall flavor.

Each batch of muffins came out super moist with a crispy, crunchy streusel top.
