LeapFrog Touch Magic “Rock ‘n Learn” Party + $500 gift card CONTEST

When it comes to toys I’m always on the lookout for those that are not only fun but educational and well made. It takes a lot to hold a child’s attention for long periods of time so toys HAVE to meet those requirements.

Imagine my excitement when the award winning maker of educational toys, LeapFrog, offered moms like me (through MomSelect) the opportunity to host a Rock ‘n Learn party to experiment with their new Touch Magic line of toys. Anytime is the right time for a party, right? hehee!

These guitars are totally cool. There aren’t any strings to worry about (saving your child’s fingers), you actually strum the colored bars. When you stop strumming, the guitar stops playing — just like the real thing! The Touch Magic Learning Guitar defaults as an electric guitar but if you hold down the red button with the guitar image, it changes over to an acoustic. We prefer the electric guitar since we’re big fans of rock music. hehee!

Wanna sing solo — karaoke style? No problem! Hit the star button and the default singer lets you take the mike all by yourself. You can also add in drums, an audience that applauds your efforts and switch between 10 different built-in songs.

This amazing educational toy can provide hours of fun through seek and find, recognition of images, sounds and vocabulary. The learning school bus asks your child to locate a specific image or letter and once found, your child touches the correct one. There are also plenty of fun songs that your child can sing along to with the characters on the bus.

One great thing about the learning bus is that it includes 3 different learning modes, so as your child learns, you can select a more advanced setting to match your child’s skills.

Something else you’ll love and appreciate about these toys is that they’re smooth to the touch — making clean up a breeze. So, if your child plays with them during lunchtime and accidentally gets jelly on the board, it’s not a big deal. Just take a moist towel and wipe it off.

The Touch Magic toys are as fun as they look and great at keeping young children interested and entertained at the same time — all while learning. We’ve really enjoyed the guitars and the school bus… so much so that even the bigger kids have taken a liking to them. hehee!
