When it comes to breakfast cereals I have a few requirements, or should I say expectations of sorts.
No, I’m not a food snob. I just see the rising cost of food products and want more since I’m paying more. Nothing wrong with that, right?
I don’t typically eat a lot of cereal but when I do I want it to not only taste good but be healthy for my family and stay crunchy in milk. There’s nothing more annoying than getting halfway through a bowl of cold cereal only to be left with a glob of mush. Hmm, if I wanted that, I’d opt for oatmeal.
Ok, I’m picky. There I said it! hahaa.
Am I really asking too much from my cereal though? I honestly don’t think so. The problem is, not too many fit the bill.
Ok, before you stick up your nose to the word “fiber”, you’ve got to hear about Fiber One’s new Nutty Clusters & Almonds cereal. Sure, many fiber rich foods make you think of bland stuff that tastes like cardboard but not this one. Oh no, this one is actually good!
Honestly, so far I haven’t ‘met’ a Fiber One product that I didn’t like. The Oats & Peanut Butter chewy bars are the bomb! hehee. Of course I expected nothing less than good when I was offered the opportunity to try Nutty Clusters & Almonds cereal. Did it pass my picky test? Absolutely!
I don’t particularly care for super sweet cereals so when I took my first bite of the Nutty Clusters, I was pleasantly pleased with the lightly sweet honey taste. It’s also full of crunch — not only from the flakes but the nutty clusters of puffed wheat and oats. Not to mention those sliced almonds… YUM!
Oh and the flakes stood up to the milk too. It became just slightly chewy when I got near the bottom of the bowl, but no way near mushy. Another plus!
Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds cereal contains 11 grams of fiber (that’s 43% of the daily value), 23 grams of whole grain (at least 48% of your recommended daily value), and only 180 calories per serving. So what do you think? Sounds healthy, right?
This great-tasting wholesome breakfast cereal is something that you can truly feel good about feeding your family.
And, considering 9 out of 10 Americans don’t get enough fiber in their diets, when consuming Nutty Clusters & Almonds cereal you won’t have any trouble meeting the daily recommended value of 25 grams of fiber per day. Why? Because you’ll actually enjoy eating it.
