Many of you may remember a while back when I professed my love of the game Bop It! XT, and how quickly it became a favorite of both Gina and I.
We have had a blast challenging each other to see who can get the highest score. She started off beating me but after a little practice I took the lead. hehee!
It’s a game you can’t easily become bored with because it keeps you on your toes.
In keeping with the tradition of Bop It! fans’ competitive nature and love of games that test your skills, Hasbro created a new edition to the Bop It! collection — the Bop It! SMASH.
This fast action, reaction skill game tests your skills as you try to control, trap and play with the moving light. When it lands in the center of the game you’ve got to move quickly by smashing (pushing) the two ends of the game together to capture the ball of light or “uh oh” you lose a game play. Complete a whole game play without missing one of 3 zone spaces and you gain more chances.
The closer the light is to the center of the game unit, the more points you gain — one point if the light is green and within the black circle, 5 points if you capture it when it turns blue and hits smack dab in the center.
This game is all about speed and timing, and the further you go in solo play, the harder it gets. When friends come to visit, play PASS IT … who can last the longest without missing a zone space? Or when there are more than 2 friends, set Bop It! SMASH to multi-player mode and challenge up to 6 players to see who is the fastest smasher.
BUY IT!
Bop It! SMASH retails for $19.99 and can be purchased at mass merchandise retailers nationwide as well as online at www.hasbro.com and amazon.com. Prices may vary per store.
If you’re looking for an entertaining game that’s ready to play right out of the box, and fun for nearly everyone, check out Bop It! SMASH. It’s lightweight, portable and very addictive.
