2011 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE: Shari’s Berries 12 Fancy Berry Chocolate Armada

What’s not to love about strawberries, or cookies, or nuts or CHOCOLATE? What about those foods dipped in chocolate? Mmmm…. is your mouth watering now? It should be, especially for Shari’s Berries.

Oh my are their confections delicious!!! I’ve tried chocolate dipped strawberries from other companies and I have to say that Shari’s Berries are THE BEST I’ve ever tasted.

We were sent the 12 Fancy Berry Chocolate Armada to try and I can’t say enough how yummy it was. Every darned piece was delectable and left me wanting more. Unfortunately I was “stuck” sharing with my family, not that I wanted to. hehee!

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE ARMADA?

• 4 Strawberries dipped in white chocolate w/ dark chocolate drizzle
• 4 Strawberries dipped in milk chocolate w/ mini chocolate chips
• 4 Strawberries dipped in milk chocolate w/ chopped almonds
• 8 bakery fresh chocolate dipped Cookies
• Chocolate covered Almonds
• Chocolate covered fruit medley

Being that I had never tasted Shari’s Berries chocolate dipped strawberries, I went for a white chocolate dipped strawberry first. Oh my was it heavenly. You get a crunch from the outer chocolate layer first, then you’re greeted with the sweetened juice from the strawberry. The blend of chocolate with the slight tartness of the strawberry is perfect!

Please note: These guys are very big, and very juicy. So much so that it’s best to eat them with a napkin.

This may come as no surprise but the strawberries disappeared very quickly!

The chocolate covered almonds are perfection! I love the thick layer of dark chocolate with the crunchy whole almonds. Yum, yum and yum!

As you can see in the photo, only half of each cookie is dipped, giving a place for your fingers to grasp them. Not that I would complain if the whole thing was covered and melted in my hand. Hey, I don’t mind licking chocolate off my fingers from time to time. You just can’t waste chocolate, ya know?!? hahaa!

My order didn’t include the fruit medley, maybe due to a shortage, so some time in the near future I’ll have to order some and see what they’re like. I really don’t doubt that they’ll be just as tasty as the others.
