All Star Vacation Homes

Crafts have always been like a staple in our home. I enjoyed them when I was in school and my kids enjoy them just as much now. It gives them a chance to be creative without feeling like they’re being challenged or that they have to strive to be perfect. They’re free to use their imagination and they have a lot of fun with it.

Toys, of course, are fun for kids as well. I’ve always preferred the type that forced my kids to be creative, and imaginative just as with crafts. Sure, video games can be fun but it’s so much more fulfilling to see something you created all on your own rather than just having the opportunity to say you beat a character in a game. Plus, with crafts, you can give them as gifts if you like. I always did that. I still do at Christmas time through baking. I love creating tasty treats in my kitchen, wrapping them in pretty papers and packing them up in shiny boxes that are tied with a bow. Giving them out during our holiday visits is very fulfilling to me. Not to mention seeing the smiles on the faces of those who receive them.

I was given the chance this weekend to host a  fun and exciting Fuzzoodles Fiesta House PartyPalooza and I have to say it’s one of the most enjoyable house parties I’ve ever had. We were supplied with tons of parts to make lots of silly, creative creatures and the kids had a blast! What I love most about the Fuzzoodles is that they’re a cross between a craft and a toy because your children make them like a craft, but Fuzzoodles can be played with for hours AND your child can redesign them for a different playtime whenever they want. You get multiple toys all in one.

WHAT ARE FUZZOODLES?

Fuzzoodles are plush creatures that children can create in all shapes and sizes. The body parts are jumbo sized pipe cleaners that are bent and twisted into whatever shapes kids prefer and then plastic eyes, noses, feet and other accessories are added to give the creatures more character. You may have already seen the commercials on television.

Here’s the supply table. Look at all of that stuff! I hadn’t even unpackaged it all yet.

Everyone gathered the parts they wanted and let their creativity flow!

We had parts and kids all over the place. hahaa. Eventually we had fuzzy creatures everywhere too. With Fuzzoodles, each one is honestly a one-of-a-kind because it’s not that easy to recreate a ‘masterpiece’. One great thing about these little guys is that even if you’re not that talented, they still turn out cute no matter how much time and effort you put into them.

Look at all of the serious faces. They’re really into it!

All of the mommies stood back and watched as the kids twisted, bent and built their Fuzzoodles. A few of us made one too but this was all about the kids and seeing what they thought about these extremely fun kits. Occasionally one of the kids would need assistance in getting a piece ‘just right’ but overall they did quite well by themselves.

Most of the girls wanted to make a ‘girlie’ Fuzzoodle with high heel shoes and a handbag!

After all of that hard work the kids had quite a hefty appetite so we dined on taco’s and nacho’s to go along with the Fiesta party. Yummy! Of course we had all of the fixin’s that went along with it.

My hubby even got involved and made this silly monster!

Here’s a few of the final creations…

There’s doggies, birds, princesses, even one that looks like Big Bird!

Hey, is that a crazy Elmo I see? Lot’s of cuties, huh?

All total we wound up with 22 Fuzzoodles and still had plenty of parts left over for later!

At the end of the party all of the Moms sat down and filled out a questionnaire regarding the Fuzzoodles kits and the party as a whole. Once finished I randomly chose a winner out of all of the completed questionnaires and the winner received a $10 gift card to Toys R Us. Honestly everyone was a winner because each guest received a reusable tote bag and got to take their Fuzzoodle creation home along with a few extra pieces so they could create something new later.

All in all this was a great party — lots of fun and tasty food. Everyone enjoyed the Fuzzoodles and stated they would definitely buy more and recommend them to family and friends.

Need ideas for stocking stuffers or birthday gifts? Check out Fuzzoodles! They’re a lot of fun, extremely affordable and can be used over and over again.

BUY IT!

Fuzzoodle kits are available in small, and large, and if you wanna go all out grab a Fuzzoodle big box. You can purchase Fuzzoodles in stores such as Toys R Us, and Target as well as online at amazon.com. Prices vary per store.

I did not receive financial compensation for my review but did receive a jumbo box filled with Fuzzoodles parts & instruction booklets to test while participating in a House PartyPalooza and was under no obligation to write a positive review.~
